Getting started

A 5-minute tour of the whole platform: what you'll see, what you can do, and where to go next based on your role.

The 30-second version

A guest scans a QR code at a bar. They see the venue's page, search a song, tap Request, and pay a small fee. The DJ sees the request appear in the queue in real time and approves or declines it. When the song plays, the guest gets a notification. When it's marked Played, the venue is paid.

The full flow

    Scan. Guests find a venue via the QR code on the table, the printed poster, or the /find-a-venue directory.

    Request. On the venue page, they search the Spotify catalog, preview 30 seconds, and tap Request.
  3. 3
    Pay. Stripe Checkout collects payment. The charge is authorized but not captured yet.
  4. 4
    Queue. The DJ dashboard shows the request instantly. The DJ can reorder, bump, decline, or accept.
  5. 5
    Play. The DJ marks the song Playing, then Played. Marking as played triggers the payment capture.
  6. 6
    Payout. Stripe collects the money and the venue is credited according to its revshare.
