VenueTunes

For DJs

The song request app built around the booth.

You already know what guests want: their song, now, free, with a side of "do you take Venmo?". VenueTunes flips that dynamic. Guests pay before the request hits your screen. You stay in control of the floor.

Paid requests by default

Every request comes with a secure payment attached. No more chasing tips after a 4-hour set.

Live DJ queue

Drag, drop, skip, or refund from any tablet or laptop. Updates in real time, no refresh required.

Priority lane

Premium-priced requests jump the line, so the booth always has something hot ready to play.

Auto-refunds

Songs that don't play in the open session refund automatically. No DM arguments after the gig.

Genre / explicit filters

Lock the request pool by genre, BPM range, or block explicit tracks per venue.

Works with your rig

VenueTunes manages the request layer. Play through Serato, rekordbox, Bluetooth, Sonos — whatever you already use.

A typical residency night with VenueTunes

  1. 9:00 PM — Open the venue page, set the price ($5 standard, $10 priority), and unlock requests from the DJ dashboard.
  2. 9:15 PM — First wave of guests scan the QR. Requests queue up with payment confirmed, dedications attached, and explicit filters applied.
  3. 10:30 PM — Room is full. Flip to priority-only for 30 minutes to keep the floor moving and squeeze max ARPU.
  4. 12:45 AM — Last call. Close the queue from the booth, let pending priorities play out, auto-refund anything that didn't fit.
  5. 2:00 AM — Sit down, check the night's totals, see your split. No tip math.

Why DJs prefer this over old-school tip jars

A tip jar rewards approach, not playability. A request app — done badly — turns into a Slack channel of every wedding-DJ horror story. VenueTunes splits the difference: guests pay before the booth sees the request, the DJ controls the queue, and unplayed money refunds itself. The result is a higher average per-song revenue with fewer interruptions per hour.
